| Entrance Hall |
| The Great Hall
Double doors in the Entrance Hall lead to the Great Hall, which is a vast chamber with an enchanted ceiling that mirrors the sky outside. There are four long tables for each of the four houses, and the teachers sit at a fifth table on a raised platform at the front of the room.

The Hog's Head sits at the end of a side street, marked by a sign depicting a boar's head dripping blood onto a white cloth. When the wind blows, the sign squeaks on its rusted bracket. The inn has only one room for the bar. Dirt is packed over the stone floor and hardly any sunshine filters through the filthy bay windows.

A small shop located on a side street, it tends to be a bit stuffy inside due to the crowds. The windows steam up and the gaudy tables and chairs are all claimed by teenagers . A bell over the door announces customers; the round tables are decorated with lacy napkins and (undoubtedly flowered) china sugar bowls.

The most haunted place in Britain! Situated somewhat uphill from central Hogsmeade, the ruined house is avoided by the villagers & Hogwarts ghosts
too.The interior of the Shack bears evidence to a much more physical haunting than any ghosts are capable of.The Shrieking Shack is connected to Hogwarts by a secret passage that leads from under the base of the Whomping Willow to an opening in the floor of the main room downstairs.

| Ministry of Magic |
| Entrance
The entrance to the Ministry of Magic is in the form of an old,shabby telephone booth. Once you get inside, pick up the receiver and dial 62442. The voice of the receptionist fills the air. She first tells you to state your name and business. When you have been approved, you get a small silver badge that lists your name and business as stated. You are then told, if you are a visitor, to submit to a search and present your wand for registration at the security desk. Then the telephone booth begins to descend like an elevator, finally arriving in a magnificent mahogany-panelled entrance hall with a highly polished, dark wood floor.

This is a huge department with a few halls.It includes Accidental Magic Reversal Squad, Obliviator Headquarters, and the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee.

| Level 4: Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
The main duties of the department are to regulate the breeding of magical creatures and to ensure that wizards do not break the laws of importing dangerous creatures from other countries.It includes Beast, Being, and Spirit Divisions, Goblin Liaison Office, and Pest Advisory Bureau.

| Level 5: Department of International Magical Cooperation
The duties of this Department are to liaise with other magical institutions in foreign countries, and to agree on International Magical Laws.It includes International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law, and the International Confederation of Wizards, British Seats.

| Level 8:The Atrium
This is the reception area where all of the witches and wizards who work at the Ministry gather to head to work. The place has a dark wooden floor with fireplaces on each side and a blue ceiling that is inlaid with gleaming golden symbols that may be some kind of a notice board. In the Atrium there is the Fountain of Magical Brethren, and at the far end are the Security Desk and a great pair of golden gates that lead to the elevators.
